Thanks Terry for answering my question. My question was about the ASCs and I assumed (wrongly) that you would strongly clarify the issue in your Sup Regs rather than handball to MA.
If I need any components, including end cases to run at your meetings, I will fit them. I do need to find a heap more time to even qualify at the back, but having a go seems like a good idea.
I went off track in the other thread as you went on about club racing, not the ASCs. As usual, there was a level 5 steward at the local meeting last weekend, and your comments didn't seem reasonable.
Cheers,
Rob
Well you were well served Rob as the ASC only requires level 4 officials to make sure the series proceeds.
I have not handballed anything to anyone, I cannot provide my own clarification on what their rules are. This is their field of responsibility and one they wouldn't want me wandering into. Plus how can I write the Sup Regs and say what is right or wrong regarding technical rules? First off the Sup regs would be rejected, secondly I can't tell the scrutineers nor Clerk of Course how they should implement the rules. Seriously this is not a promoters job.
