From: Privateers Dad .....--... 2009 ASBK Supp Regs and Final Dates

I have read the ASBK Supp Regs and believe that point 49 is a serious restriction of trade and breaks a number of federal laws relating to the trade practices act.
This rule appears to be aimed at destroying Formula Xtreme by limiting where competitors can compete and who the FX series can attract. Why should a competitor or team be fined $14,000 and be kicked out of the ASBK for going to the Queensland round of the FX series that happens two months after the ASBK round at that venue? Where is the advantage in that?
How can the industry stand by when many other race series around the country other then the FX series will be seriously impacted by these restrictions? Is Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki there for the sport or for their own glory?
