Where does this perception that the promoter is not allowed to make money come from ?

Seriously The Formula Xtreme people do this for a living, Its not a charity, If I work full time I expect to get paid for the work. Im sure Terry & Gloria (and others) put quite a lot of work into FX,

Terry treats his competitors and sponsors like customers for a good reason, its called professional business conduct. The CUSTOMER expects to get value for money and QUALITY serices in return for their investement.
